If you are having problems with your mods and the errors in starbound.log mention a particular ID, you can plug them into that last URL to see what mod it is (swap 882900100 for whatever you see in the logs). Likewise the mod's own ID can be pulled from the URL. Where did I get those numbers to use in the command? 211820 is the ID for Starbound, as you can find from the URL for the game's Workshop page. You can then find the files at /Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/211820/882900100/ As an example, this will download my inventory mod - workshop_download_item 211820 882900100 ![]() However for simply downloading a mod, you can do this instead - login anonymous So after you're done, you'll need to totally restart the client. Also note that logging you in via steamCMD will log you out of the Steam Client. It will ask you for your password, and if you use Steam Guard, it will also ask your verification code - same as the Steam client. ![]() ![]() After you download it and run it - login Though I use steamCMD for the opposite purpose, as the upload tool is Windows only.Įdit: I should be more specific. You need this command - workshop_download_item Note that Steam Workshop items can be downloaded with the steamCMD tool.
